Company History
With it’s start in Buffalo, S.O.S. has grown to include work across New York State. Our earliest Buffalo clients included weddings, school dances, University events, and YMCA youth events.
Since it’s first gig in the Spring of 2004 under the name “Custom Entertainment,” S.O.S. expanded to include the Albany NY area in the Fall of 2005. Immediately we began working with the Capital Region’s non-profit organizations and local bowling centers.
S.O.S. currently runs regular events in both Buffalo and Albany, while attracting periodic events throughout New York. Oftentimes visiting friends of our clients see us perform, and ask us to travel to their hometown!
Our Philosophy
Our reputation is that of entertainment professionals with a knack for event planning. We do not just show up to events and play music. We work with you every step of the way, from the initial planning right through to the implementation of ideas.
If you are hiring us for a one-time event like a wedding, family reunion, or birthday party, our goal is to help you make it as special as possible. That means meeting with you, listening to your ideas, sharing some of our own, and then following through on plans to make sure that your guests have an amazing time.
For those looking for regular entertainment at a specific venue, we consider ourselves a partner in your success! Some people have a crystal clear picture of what they want when developing a regular ‘scene.’ Others have some ideas, but are interested in a helping hand. When working with us on a regular basis, our clients find that we are quick to share advice on marketing, promotion, and ways to increase revenue for your business. Ultimately, our job is to help make sure that things go smoothly and that you consistently draw an audience to your venue.
