Karaoke

     Karaoke has exploded in popularity over the past several years. Especially since the arrival of certain TV shows that feature singing contests! More and more, people are interested in showing off their vocal skills, and karaoke provides them an opportunity to sing their favorite songs in front of an audience.

What is Karaoke?

     S.O.S. Entertainment will set up a full sound system at your event, along with several microphones and a television screen. During the event, guests can request to sing a song by asking us, or going through one of our songbooks. When the time comes, our DJ will play the song without the original singer’s voice, and lyrics will display on our television screen. All you have to do is sing along!

Why offer Karaoke?

     Karaoke can add a special element to any event. It allows you the chance to have much more interaction between guests, and provides live entertainment. At special occasions this can create a wonderful moment that everyone will talk about for years. In a bar or less formal environment, it gives patrons a chance to do more than just sit around and talk while having a few drinks.

How many songs does S.O.S. have?

     Without going into mind boggling numbers of songs, let’s just say that if you’ve heard a song on the radio before, chances are that we have it available to sing. From Sinatra to Slipknot, and everything in between, we will have something that is ‘up your alley’ available to you.
